What's the difference?

What's the difference between the Pari Mini and the Pari Boy Mobile ? 

If you're waiting for a joke, sorry, but it is a question we get asked many times. The answer to the question is that there isn't really a difference, the Pari Mini is there for your convenience so you can pick n mix the components of the Boy Mobile you may actually use.

Now you see it, the image above shows the Pari Boy Mobile with the yellow battery attached
Now you don't, the image below is the Pari Boy Mobile without the battery attached. The Pari Mini 

So if you want a lightweight dual voltage nebuliser to travel with but don't need a battery, or you are looking for a mains option but only need a car lead then choose the Pari Mini

Omron C803

The Omron C801 is being upgraded to the Omron C803 

Perfect for those of you who only need to nebulise every now and then, the C803 is also suitable as a secondary or emergency back up model.

The C803 really comes into its own if you are looking for an inexpensive nebuliser for occasional travel and holidays. Much quieter than all other mains only compressors, it is also ideal for use during the early hours.

The Innospire Mini has finally arrived

At last the long awaited portable Innospire Mini from Philips has finally arrived. Here you can see it in all it's glory and by clicking HERE you can check out the finer details. 

Some of you may spot a certain resemblance to an older Philips nebuliser the MicroElite but its bigger and bolder and certainly more powerful. For those of you haven't yet replaced your old Freeway with a Pari Mini it may just fit the bill.

It has a rechargeable battery, mains power which is dual voltage and a car lead. It also comes complete with the Sidestream Plus to provide that extra boost for stickier more viscous medications such as steroids or hypertonic saline

So what's new?

The compressor itself is as reliable as all Omron nebulisers but it has to be said an interesting shape. It's easy to use with a chunky button and switch, simple to assemble accessories and a straight forward no nonsense design. Not too heavy, weighing 1.3 kg its quite light for a mains only compressor, and it packs away nicely into the bag provided. So far so good.

The really innovative idea comes with the actual nebuliser kit, the part where you put the medication. The A3 nebuliser chamber has a unique adjustable design which provides you with three settings to more accurately target your specific problem area. You simply select the correct setting on the nebulisation control ring, adjusting the particle size of the mist to allow fast relief for upper, mid or lower airway conditions, providing a therapy that is more personal to you.

Nebulisers for 2015

Happy New Year to you all.

So what will 2015 bring? Firstly I can say for a fact that shortly there will be at least 2 new nebulisers added to our range. We are busy trying to write the info for our website in between juggling your many orders which as always we really appreciate. Hopefully any disruption caused by the festive season has now settled and we did try, as promised, to keep it to a minimum. I think we pretty much succeeded but if anyone has a query you can reach us on 01942 701210 or be emailing HERE. All the major manufactures are back in business so we should be able to sort it out quickly.

At this time of year we always get asked lots of questions about the mucus clearance devices which are extremely effective if congestion and sticky mucus causes you a problem.
